Nice staff. Interesting building layout - unique. Hotel is close enough to everything, we walked to Notre Dame, then the Eiffel Tower and on to the Arch de Triumph and back to the hotel within a few hours (with breaks for shopping etc). Lots of shops and metro stations nearby. In general, the room we stayed in (double bed facing courtyard) was fine and we enjoyed the stay for the most part but there were issues that we know others would have struggled with.
No air con, windows don't suffice because air outside was never cold enough! Temp went up to 30c and we didn't need to use covers at all it was too hot. Bathroom VERY small. It was a bit difficult to shower too as the head kept falling and moving depending on the pressure of the water coming out of it. No safe in the room. Had to give a 40euro deposit that we weren't warned about. The main issue was the noise, the walls are thin. 2 days in a row we heard 2 separate couples having arguments throughout the night and doors slamming at all hours.
Bed was comfy
No tea facilities, coffee machine broken, room was tiny. Room was freezing. I had to ask for extra toilet paper. It was very hard to find the place too
Nice staff Clean rooms
Pour breakfast Very small bathroom Bad smell in the room
The room is well renovated
But the bathroom is very old and very Small . The sink is blocked . The breakfast is very simple and the coffee bad.
The rooms were very clean. The location was in walking distance to the metro. The front desk staff (Christoph) was terrific, and spoke English. I was very happy staying here.
Wi Fi was a bit on and off
The staff were friendly and helpful and all spoke English. The room and en-suite was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable.
The fittings and fixtures were worn out but we only slept there, we did not spend a lot of time in our room.
Recommended for those who want a budget hotel. Clean rooms, good continental breakfast with excellent coffee. A great base for people who came to explore Paris, since it is not far from the world famous attractions.
Decent rooms, superb staff, good location.
Thin walls – bring earplugs, a bit cramped bathroom.
Great hotel for those who are on a budget. Cheap and clean at the same time. The hotel is close to Sacre Couer and Moulin Rouge, you can walk there. Metro station in 5 minutes’ walk.
Room decoration was outdated, the beds were uncomfortable, and the walls were very thin so you could here the people next door talking.
A clean hotel, good location, friendly staff, an elevator for those who need one. For the price paid the hotel is good enough, with friendly English speaking staff. A decent room and a bathroom.
No lounge or bar area in the lobby.
I felt at home at the hotel. It was clean, comfortable and warm. Excellent room service. Good location not far from Montmartre, and the house of Bizet, the composer, was just across the street.
A bit thin walls and the shower drained slowly. But it’s 2 star
